We make a quick trip to The Hawthorns to check on the progress of the Shrine's facelift in the first edition of Woodman Corner, and there's an update on when we can expect the club's new kit.
Great start - keep it going! Living in Canada keeps me at a distance but people like you and Andy C. help bring the Hawthorns much closer. Thanks in advance!

Great first 'woodman corner ' Joe !! This coming season is gong to be my 60th season following the baggies as I saw the very first match of the 1965/66 season at home to west ham , won 3-0 !! So I had a great start and four cup finals in my first 5 years of support was amazing and I would love to see the club return to those halcyon days !! I'm quietly optimistic about the new season , and with a few new additions and holding onto fellows price and Heggem is a must , we could have a very good season !! Regards Joe !!
Many thanks Stephen, I'd widely agree with your sentiments re Price and Heggem, although Albion shouldn't be afraid to do business either, if the price is right. They're players who are evidence of what can be acquired for little money if you do the legwork.
Great quiz questions! Pepe Mel was my manager guess. Valero, perhaps? Having a look at the arranged friendly, I saw that Oscar Trejo was in their squad up until this summer. He played for Real Mallorca, with Valero, in 2008 at The Hawthorns and if I recall correctly Mowbray wanted him, too.
Cheers for this Joe - great read. Looking forward to see how this develops
I see an Andy shoutout, I press the like button

Excellent, thanks Joe. East reading and a good range of stuff. Much appreciated.
Ah glad it's been well received, cheers Scott

Thank you for this. It's a proper update speculation and opinion free. Please keep it up.
Thank you Mark, I shall strive to.
Your starter for 10 ... Which ex Albion manager and which player had Rayo Vallecano links?

Good stuff, Joe! Think of one of the GREATS for the player. A sad end.
Ah, Cunningham of course. Namechecked in this newsletter, poignantly!
